A message from our founder:
My passion for this ministry is driven by my own life experience. First-gen college students ourselves, my three brothers and I all obtained our bachelor's degrees - and have since helped most of our children and grandchildren obtain college or vocational educations. I truly believe that helping a first-gen student fulfill his or her dreams of higher education breaks a generational cycle and empowers the subsequent generations of that student to follow suit.
First-Gen Advocates offers its college admission workshops to its student clients at no cost to them - made possible by the generous gifts from individuals, businesses and foundations who choose to partner with us in this mission. We are a tax-exempt charitable organization under IRS section 501(c)(3), EIN 41-3649698.
If this cause resonates with you or aligns with the philanthropic goals of your organization, please consider partnering with us by making a donation to our charity. Donations (payable to First-Gen Advocates) or inquiries may be sent to us using the contact information at the bottom of this page.
Thank you in advance for your support.
